OUR STORY
3rd Generation Family-Owned Business
The Goodfellow Family have farmed Lynup Hill since the 1940's, travelling a great distance to get here ... from the farm next door ...
It's fair to say the Goodfellow's have taken care of this part of Northumberland for quite some time!

Lynup Hill was a mixed Arable, Sheep and Beef Farm until 2002 when Philip Goodfellow spotted an opportunity and acquired the equipment and goodwill of a local egg round. Choosing to become a producer of Free Range Eggs in Northumberland.

He started, with 500 free range laying hens and 10 wooden hen houses and our business has grown from there.
ABOUT LYNUP HILL
As the old saying goes, we are now big enough to cope, but small enough to care. We are also extremely proud to have retained the custom of all the businesses we inherited with the purchase of the egg round in 2002 and we have added some more, new fantastic outlets. See our stockists page.
We are actively seeking new customers, for our Northumbrian Free Range Eggs, so if you are interested in either using our eggs in your food enterprise, or retailing them, please do get in contact. Jonathan is looking forward to your call 07977 588 260.

OUR HENS
Our hens are all Hybrid Layers, currently our hen houses all have ISA Warren Hens. These are brown free range layers, we choose ISA Warrens as they like our older Hen Houses. They are a slightly older breed and seem to cope well with our windy hill!

Our hens are available to buy see the Terms and Conditions page for more details.
